Recover & Extract Windows Vista Product Key

This Windows Product Key Extractor(Freeware) is a pretty nice utility to check your Windows Product keys. It works for Windows XP and Windows vista OEM 32 bit. You can have your keys backed up for future.



Although the current Produkey v1.06 is not officially declared to support Windows Vista, it’s working fine to extract product ID and product key of a 32-bit OEM Windows Vista Ultimate edition.

ProduKey v1.06 is a tiny, standalone, freeware Windows product key extractor developed by Nirsofer, which is able to extract and recover the lost Windows product key of Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, SQL Server 2005, Office XP, Office 2003, Exchange Server. As shown in the print-screen above, this freeware is able to crack and display Windows Vista Ultimate product key too!

It was tested on a 32-bit OEM Windows Vista Ultimate edition. So, I suppose it will work on all Windows Vista editions, except for the 64-bit version. However, there are some known problems, as those acknowledged by Nirsofter:

1) It’s not working well with most Dell computers that come with pre-installed Windows OS - the Windows product key extracted and displayed by ProduKey utility will be different from the product key on the Windows setup CD/DVD.

2) ProduKey may display Visual Studio .Net product key as Office XP product key, as for unknown reason that the Visual Studio .NET product key is written as Office XP product in the Windows Registry!

3) It’s not able to extract product key of Office 2000 and below!

There is no extra DLL or installation, just double-click it to run. Besides running in GUI mode, ProduKey can also run in Command Prompt to extract Windows product keys of a remote computer, or to enumerate all computers on local network or specific domain and crack to load all Windows product keys from them!

So, while waiting for Nirsoft official announcement, you can rely on ProduKey to easily get back the lost Windows Vista product key. I will say this Windows product key extractor is a must-have utility in your USB thumb-drive. Unless the Windows fails to boot up, you’ll have a chance to extract and backup the Windows product keys before too late!
